By the power of your love, enable it to live according to your plan. May we always praise you for all your beauty in creation. Blessed are you, Lord our God, in all your creatures! Amen.

Creation The created world, structured in an
intelligent way by God, is entrusted to our responsibility; and though we are
able to analyze it and transform it we cannot consider ourselves creation's
absolute master. We are called, rather, to exercise responsible stewardship of
creation, in order to protect it, to enjoy its fruits, and to cultivate it,
finding the resources necessary for everyone to live with dignity. General Audience (Pope Emeritus Benedict
XVI)26 August 2009
